The Pet Adoption League, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit, all volunteer, NO KILL, animal rescue organization dedicated to helping dogs and cats find new homes.
Our rescue dogs include mixed breed, purebred and specialty breeds of all sizes and ages. Pet Adoption League rescues animals from local animal shelters, strays turned in by their rescuers, and some dogs that are surrendered by owners who can no longer keep them. Most of our animals are housed in foster homes which gives us a better insight into their personality, temperament and training.
Our adoption fee includes vet exam, all vaccinations, heartworm test (dogs), feline leukemia/FIV test (cats), fecal check, and spay/neuter. Our dogs are heartworm negative and are on flea & heartworm preventive. Our cats are feline leukemia and FIV negative, kittens are feline leukemia negative (kittens under 6 months are too young to be tested for FIV).
We try to make the transition of our adopted dogs to their new homes as easy as possible with educational materials.
